Prepare your hospitalisation in one day surgical

How do I know at what time my procedure will begin?

You can find out at what time your procedure is set to begin by calling the administrative service the day before your operation, between 3pm and 6pm. But if the operation is scheduled for Monday, the patient should call the secretariat on Friday, and if the day before the operation is a holiday, the patient should call on the last working day before the holiday.

How do I prepare for my operation?

You must start fasting at midnight: fasting means no eating and no drinking.

At what time must I arrive at the hospital?

In order to limit the duration of your hospital stay as much as possible, you must arrive at the time indicated the day before by the administrative service.

What happens during the intervention?

Upon your arrival in the unit, you will be welcomed by administrative staff and then by nursing staff. The operation is performed with the anaesthetics determined by the anaesthetist, after having discussed the options with you. After a short period in the recovery room, you will be brought in a bed to your room by the nurse who will be taking care of you.
